The preschool director is Karen Toresdahl. She has been with the school (originally the Methodist Preschool) since 1993.
Our preschool prides itself on the quality of our programs as well as our staff. Many of our teachers have twenty or more years of experience at the preschool, and are certified specialists in elementary and early childhood education.
We have a consistent low teacher - student ratio of 1 to 8 for the oldest groups and 1 to 5 for the youngest group of two year olds. We also have a nutrition specialist in charge of the snack program that we provide during the morning at school; she also serves as a floating teacher to further boost our teacher to student ratio.
Students must reach the age of their peers for entry in the fall; for example, the two year olds must turn two before they enter (September 10). This is the cutoff date that the Bozeman public schools has set as policy for entry into kindergarten.
