With the exception of special days, you may expect most classes to contain the following:
A period of free play offerings:
Snack: A social time for new food experiences, often creating food with our assistant teacher where the kids get to pour, stir, cook and clean up.
Group experience: Kids are to sit as a group and look at books, listen to the teacher read a story, sing songs, dance and participate in finger plays.
Outdoor activities: We try to get outside when the weather allows. Our playground encourages climbing, running, riding on toys, playing in the sand box or in the snow during the winter. It’s a great opportunity for large muscle activities and games.
Indoor gross motor activities: When we are not able to get outside, we can utilize the church’s social hall for games, dance parties, playing with balloons or the large parachute.
Lunch: Children get out their own lunch to open and eat and share conversation with the table.
Willson Preschool is in session Monday through Friday beginning at 9:30 and ending at 12:45.
Each morning there is an option of extended care in the Early Bird program (8:30-9:30) and on Monday and Tuesday in the Late Bug Program (12:45-3:00).
These programs are separate from the regular classes with limited enrollment.
Each year we visit Rocky Creek Farm to pick a pumpkin and take a hay ride.
Whether it's visiting the companies parents work at or learning about the many businesses in Bozeman; we love to take the kids on tours!
Perhaps our most well-known (and well-loved) activity is our annual Thanksgiving day feast. The kids love to perform for their families!
Our friends at Old Chicagos love to set us up with a fun personal pizza making experience!
